Michelin Supercar Paddock Awash With World's Finest
This year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed featured more than 40 of the world’s
most exotic and highly sought-after supercars and was widely regarded as the best Supercar run assembled in the event’s 19 year history.
Highlights from the Michelin Supercar Run included the appearance of the brand new McLaren MP4-12C, the ultra-unique Koenigsegg Agera R, the Bugatti Veyron – both the Grand Sport and Vitesse versions – the Pagani Huayra and the Lamborghini Aventador.

Ferrari was represented with three models; the Michelin-shod Ferrari 458 Spider and Ferrari FF plus the Ferrari California. Fellow Italian marques Alfa Romeo and Maserati were also there, Alfa with the glorious 8C Spider and Maserati with the Gran Cabrio Sport and Gran Turismo Sport.
Rare cars such as Spyker’s C8 Aileron Spyder and the Gumpert Apollo, were major head-turners and brought to the Festival thanks to their connection to Michelin.
In addition to the aforementioned McLaren, the Union Flag was proudly flown by Leicester-based Noble Cars which tackled the famous hillclimb with its latest M600 model on Michelin Pilot Sport 3s. Bentley Motors took two versions of the Continental, the GT Speed and GTC V8, from its base in Crewe and Aston Martin starred with the Zagato V12. Lotus, meanwhile, brings the Michelin-shod Evora GTE and Exige S.
Of course, a supercar run just wouldn’t be right without the likes of Porsche, Mercedes-Benz and BMW all showcasing their premium-end products run on Michelins– Porsche with the 911 Carrera S and its sister Cabriolet version, Mercedes with the SL 63 AMG and BMW with the Coupe and Convertible options of the new second generation M6.
